Tourism & Leisure Show
Thursday 23 February 2012 Crowne Plaza Colchester Five Lakes Resort (map)

The show is now in its 17th year, and continues to grow both in reputation, and visitor and exhibitor numbers, on a yearly basis.

For the third year running, I will be organising the “Taste Essex” area, whereby local producers and restaurants are invited to come along. We want people to start making associations with the wonderful produce that originates from Essex.

The core target market of visitors to the event are Coach and Tour Operators, and Group Travel Organisers.  The General Public are also invited, as it’s important to attract local customers too – this is a captive audience, and it really is the perfect “show-case” to promote Essex as a whole.

The new event is to take place at the Eden Bakery between the famous Biomes on March 3, 2012, the Saturday before St Piran’s Day (March 5) which celebrates the national day of Cornwall.
