Alongwith the core marketing benefits provided in our membership services package, Tastes of Anglia’s series of networking events across the Eastern region in early 2010 will provide tailored opportunities for our members to meet and discuss the issues affecting the regional food and drink sector.
By inviting the media, key stakeholders from relevant organisations, prospective members and local dignitaries, as well as our broad Tastes of Anglia membership (of food and drink producers, associates in retail and catering, affiliate services etc) we will also be spreading the message as the authoritative voice for regional food and drink far and wide.
Tastes of Anglia is the Eastern Region’s food and drink marketing group which promotes the products and services of its membership. Launched in 1992 originally by Food from Britain (DEFRA) Tastes of Anglia is now entirely self funded and relies on project-based grants and corporate funding to continue its vital work supporting local produce.
One key aim of the Networking Events is to launch the new Tastes of Anglia website, which has been completely reworked, transforming it into both a trade-focussed online portal for our membership and regional food and drink sector but also a distinctly consumer-friendly perspective to educate and facilitate the general public in finding and enjoying the best in ingredients and products.
In terms of attendance, we expect to attract between 50 – 70 guests per event with the proposed itinerary as follows:
